There is this very good article in Brainbench about hiring candidates, this is from the viewpoint of both hiring managers and candidates + the interviewers who have conducted interviews.
The interesting point that came out of these was the basic concept of checking out a candidate and determining if he is the one you want. This is one of the major issues that we are facing currently for our hiring. The requirements for a candidate are not clear and although we are searching for what we have in mind the others start off with what they have in mind and that leads to total confusion.
These articles also bring out an interest feature in all – Documentation. It really is important and so is communication within all… 🙂
